From the chairman
Why I built this.
For nine years I did exactly what you do now — managed it myself, quietly, never quite sure I was fooling anyone. The mornings lost to it; the upkeep that became a second job. And the systems I could buy were never good enough — the hair, the base, the quality of them: never quite enough, and some just bad. So I built the one I couldn't buy, and I started it myself: I'm member number one, and glad to be.
We take fifty a year, and not one more — because fifty is all a single hairdresser can truly look after. Which is rather the point: that hairdresser is yours — private, kept for the fifty alone, the same hands every time. How the rest works, and why it's only ever fifty, is in the letter.
“What you're really paying for isn't the hair. It's never having to think about it again.”
